Captain's Folly is a one-bedroom flat in the middle of Oban. It's on the first floor, so there are stairs. The big thing is the view. You look straight out over Oban Bay. Because it faces west, you get the sun for most of the day.
It's rated 4 Star. It's comfortable and has all the basics. There's one bathroom with a shower. It sleeps two people, so it's just for couples really. No pets.
You're right in the thick of it. The front door is about ten yards from the sea. Shops and pubs are about twenty seconds walk. The harbour's there, with all the boats coming and going. Oban's known for seafood, so there are plenty of places to eat.
If you want to get out on the water, you can get boat trips from the harbour to the islands like Mull and Iona. For a sandy beach, Ganavan is just on the edge of town. The flat is a good base for walking, or for driving into the hills.
In the flat, you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. All the bedding and towels are included.
