Craigneuk

Cragnuek is in Ledaig, near Oban. It's built on the site of an old church. You get the view people come to Argyll for. It looks right out over Ardnamucknich Bay towards Mull.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's a 4 Star place, which is right. It's comfortable and well looked after.

The main thing is the windows in the living room. They're big and look straight out to sea. There's a wood burner for cooler nights. The stairs are a normal cottage staircase.

Outside, there's a garden to the front and side. You're about thirty yards from the shore at Tralee beach. It's not a sandy beach, it's pebbles. You can hear the waves.

For getting out, you're on the Caledonian Cycle Route. You can walk or cycle from the door. A forest walk up Beinn Lora starts close by. Walkhighlands has the route details.

Oban is about ten minutes drive for shops and the ferry terminal. You can get boats to Mull and other islands from there. Fort William is just over an hour north if you want to go that way.

Facilities: it has the things you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a stairgate if needed. Pets are welcome, one dog. There's parking on site and an electric vehicle charger.
