Coelard Farmhouse is near Barcaldine in Argyll. It's a detached stone house, so no neighbours attached. You get the place to yourselves. It looks out over Loch Creran and the trees. Very quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and has everything you need, but it's not newly done up. It's a proper old farmhouse. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, just so you know.
There's a big garden that's just for you, plus you can walk into the owner's land which goes down to the loch side. About five and a half acres. We see a lot of wildlife. Birds, sometimes otters.
The living room has an electric stove that looks like a wood burner. There's a window seat. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. All the bedding and towels are there. WiFi is included.
For places to eat, the closest are in Port Appin, about ten minutes by car. There are a couple of good restaurants there. The nearest shop is in Barcaldine, about two miles away.
You're well placed for getting out. Glencoe is about half an hour's drive. Fort William and Ben Nevis are maybe forty minutes. Oban is twenty minutes for ferries to the islands. Good walking right from the door, or you can drive to proper hill paths.
No pets, I'm afraid. There's parking right outside.
