2 Point Steadings Port Appin

2 Point Steadings is on the Isle of Lismore. It's a stone cottage, semi-detached. You get the foot ferry from Port Appin. The pier is a few yards from the gate.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms upstairs, two with twin beds and one double. One bathroom, which is downstairs. The stairs are standard cottage stairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well looked after.

Downstairs is one open-plan room with a kitchen, dining table, and sitting area. There's a wood burner. The patio doors lead out to a side garden, which is enclosed. Good if you have dogs. You can bring two.

The views are the main thing. You look right across the water to Port Appin and the hills. It's very quiet. There's a covered seating area at the front to sit and look at it.

On the island, there's a shop and post office. The Heritage Centre has a cafe and museum. You can hire bikes. The road is single track and not too hilly. It's good for cycling.

You can get the foot ferry over to Port Appin for a meal without needing the car. There are a couple of good places to eat there. The village has a shop and some walks.

For a bigger trip, Oban is about a 45 minute drive from the ferry point at Achnacroish. Fort William is about an hour in the other direction. Glencoe is easily reached from the mainland side.

What's here: wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Garden furniture. Cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for one car.
