This is Taigh-Na-Coille. It's near Barcaldine in Argyll. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. There's a ramp up to the front door. It's modern, made of wood, and it's detached.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's spacious and comfortable.
The main room is open plan. Big windows look out over Loch Creran. You get the view from the sitting area, the dining table, and the kitchen. There's a wood burner. The doors fold back so you can step straight out onto the deck.
The facilities are what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Plenty of parking right outside.
You're a bit out on your own here. The nearest shop is about four miles away, in Benderloch. A good pub is about six and a half miles. Tralee beach is a short drive.
For walks, Ben Lora is close. You can catch the passenger ferry from Port Appin over to Lismore, which is flat and good for cycling. Oban is about twenty minutes by car. From there you can get ferries to Mull, Iona, and other islands. The area is known for seafood.
If you're planning days out, these sites are useful: Historic Environment Scotland for places like Bonawe Ironworks, and Forestry and Land Scotland for local walks and trails. Glencoe and Fort William are under an hour's drive.
