Dundonald Landing - Palm 3

This is Palm 3 at Dundonald Landing. It's a detached lodge near Ardchattan, right on Loch Etive. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, both with their own ensuite shower rooms. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's kitted out to a high standard.

The main living space is open plan, with big doors that open onto a deck. That's where the barbecue is. The deck faces south, so it gets the sun. There's a hot tub around the back. The living room has a gas stove that looks like a wood burner, a large smart TV, and one of those corner sofas that swivels. There's also a small bar area with some LED lighting.

One of the twin bedrooms and its ensuite is set up for wheelchair access. The path to the lodge is a single-track road. It's fine for driving, and good for walks or a bike ride along the loch side.

You're about 50 metres from the shore. There's a private pontoon you can use for fishing, or to keep a kayak. Some people go wild swimming from it. The gardens at Ardchattan Priory are just along the road and are worth a visit.

The nearest places for a shop or a pub are Benderloch, Connel, or North Connel. They're about an hour's walk, or a few minutes in the car. Oban is seven miles away. That's where you'll find more shops, restaurants, and the ferries to islands like Mull and Iona.

Local things within a short drive: Connel Bridge to see the Falls of Lora tidal race, Dunstaffnage Castle, Tralee Beach, and the woodland walks at Ben Lora. You're on the edge of the Lynn of Lorn National Scenic Area. Inveraray and Fort William are both about an hour away by car if you fancy a day trip.

Facilities: it has a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. All bedding and towels are included. No pets.
