Dundonald Landing is a chalet on the shore of Loch Etive. It's a one bedroom place, so it's just for two people. You can bring one dog.
It's a wooden chalet, detached. There's a deck at the front with furniture and a barbecue, looking right over the loch. The view is the main thing. It's south facing, so you get the sun. The private hot tub is on the deck, very close to the water.
Inside it's open plan. There's a sitting area, a kitchen, and the bedroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, but it's not a luxury hotel. The road behind it is a single track, so you'll hear the occasional car.
You have use of a private jetty and slipway. It's good if you've got a kayak or a small trailable boat to launch. You can fish from there.
For a walk or a cycle, the track along the north shore of the loch is right there. Ardchattan Priory gardens are along that road. The villages of Benderloch and Connel are about an hour's walk, or a few minutes by car. Connel has a shop, a post office, and a pub. The Falls of Lora are there, under the bridge.
Benderloch has Tralee Beach and some woodland walks. Oban is about seven miles away. That's where you get the ferries to the islands like Mull and Iona. Fort William and Glencoe are within an hour's drive if you want to go further.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, and bedding and towels are included. There's bicycle storage if you bring bikes.
