Ardtur Croft

Ardtur Croft is near Portnacroish, in Appin. It's a detached cottage, so no one attached. You come up a private drive and it's got its own enclosed garden. It looks out over farmland to Loch Linnhe. You can see Lismore and Morvern from the windows.

It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The main living space is open plan, with a kitchen, dining area, and seating by the wood burner. It's a bright room, good for everyone to be in together.

You can walk into Port Appin from here. There's a community shop and two very good places to eat, famous for seafood. You don't need to drive if you fancy a meal out. A bit further on, about a ten minute walk down the lane, is Aird's Bay. It's a quiet, shallow beach, safe for a swim.

The area is good for walking. You can do the gentler coastal paths, or you're within easy reach of Glencoe for the big hills. There's a cycle path that runs from Oban to Fort William right past here. You can hire bikes locally. Castle Stalker is nearby, you can walk out to it at low tide.

For facilities: it's got parking, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and the wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring two dogs.
