Dalnafeidh Beag is a one-bedroom flat for couples on our working croft in Appin. It's been recently done up. The front door opens into an open-plan kitchen and living area. You've got patio doors that open onto a small, private seating area outside.
The bedroom is separate and has an ensuite shower room. Everything is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. There's parking right outside.
Because it's a working croft, you'll see us going about our business. The crofter will be in and out of the barns and fields around you. You'll often see deer in the fields, especially in the rutting season when you can hear the stags.
It's about a ten-minute walk down to Appin Bay. From there, you can walk across the Jubilee Bridge for the classic view of Castle Stalker out on its island. For more serious walking, you're well placed for coastal paths and there are plenty of Munros within a half-hour drive.
In the village, there's a shop, a garage for fuel, and a couple of pubs that do food. Port Appin is a few miles down the road and has a village store and a couple of very well-regarded restaurants.
You're about halfway between Oban and Fort William, so it's a good base. Oban has the ferries to the islands like Mull. Fort William is the place for Ben Nevis and the Nevis Range. Glencoe is about a 15-minute drive north.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
