Well Cottage
Well Cottage is in Timberscombe, just inside the border of Exmoor. It's detached and quiet. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got dogs or children. It's got a patio with a table and chairs. The view from there is across the valley, it's very nice.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom is a shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. The Wi-Fi works. Parking is right outside.
You can bring two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
The local pub is about two miles away in the village. The nearest shop for basics is about four miles, in Dunster.
You can walk straight out from the cottage onto the moor. The coast isn't far, maybe a twenty minute drive. The bit between Minehead and Combe Martin has some good beaches and quiet coves. Because it's Exmoor and a Dark Sky Reserve, the stargazing on a clear night is excellent, no street lights.
For days out, Dunster Castle is close. Exford and Porlock are nice villages. Exmoor National Park has all the walking information. National Trust Exmoor covers the local coast and estates.
