Well Cottage

Well Cottage is in Timberscombe. It's near the Dulverton side of Exmoor National Park. The cottage is detached, so you're on your own. The main thing is the view, it's down a valley so you just see fields and trees.

It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one has a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped but not a show home. Everything works.

The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs or kids. There's a patio with a table and a BBQ. The view from there is the same, just fields.

The location is quiet. The nearest pub is about two miles away in the village. The shop is four miles, in Dulverton. That's where you'd go for a proper supermarket.

You're right in Exmoor National Park, so walking starts from the door. The coast at Minehead or Porlock is about a twenty minute drive. They're not sandy beaches really, more pebble and shingle, but it's the Bristol Channel so you get big skies. Exmoor is an International Dark Sky Reserve, so if it's clear at night you can see a lot of stars.

Dulverton is the closest town. It's got shops, cafes, a few pubs. Taunton is about forty minutes if you need anything bigger. Dunster with its castle is about fifteen minutes away.

For facilities, it's got most things you'd want: wifi, TV, a dishwasher, washing machine, wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for two cars right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
