Dove Cottage
Dove Cottage is in Hopcott, on the edge of Minehead. It's a terraced cottage, part of a row of old barns that have been converted. You get your own front door and a parking space right outside.
It sleeps four and has three bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's clean and works well. The space is a bit tight in some places, but it's fine for a week. The WiFi is decent.
There's a shop about five minutes walk away and a pub a bit further. The pub does food. Minehead seafront is a short drive, maybe ten minutes. You can walk along the promenade there. The beach is shingle.
The South West Coast Path is right on the doorstep for walking. If you head inland, you're quickly onto Exmoor. The Dunster Castle estate is about ten minutes by car. The gardens there are good. The villages of Lynton and Lynmouth are worth a trip, about half an hour's drive along the coast.
For facilities, you've got the washing machine, TV, and all the bedding and towels are included. The parking is on site, just outside. No pets, sorry.
