The Old Priory Cottage is in Dunster, right next to St George's church. It's a semi-detached cottage. The building dates from the 12th century. Parts of it used to be a small priory.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The place is full of character. There are old wooden beams and a big open fireplace from the 14th century.
The cottage has its own enclosed garden. The church garden is next door and open to the public. You can hear the church clock chime on the hour, which is nice for some. The stairs are original and a bit uneven.
You're right in the middle of the village. There's a shop, pubs, and restaurants about 50 yards away. Dunster Castle is up the hill and is a National Trust site. The beach is about half a mile walk.
You're on the edge of Exmoor National Park. The West Somerset Railway steam train runs from Minehead, which is a few minutes' drive. You can get on at Dunster station. Towns like Porlock and Watchet are about 15 minutes away by car.
For facilities: there's parking on site, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a woodburning stove. Bedding and towels are included. It has wheelchair access to the entrance. No pets.
