Juniper

This is Juniper. It's one of the cottages at Triscombe Farm, near Wheddon Cross on Exmoor. The farm's down a long drive in a valley, so it's quiet.

It's a one-bedroom place for two people. Four Star rating. Everything's on the ground floor, which is handy. The bed's a double. The bathroom has a shower. It's open plan, so the living, kitchen and dining bits are all in one room.

You're on a farm, so there are fields and animals about. The main thing here is the indoor heated swimming pool, which all the cottages share. There’s a washing machine, your own barbecue outside, and parking right there.

You're in the middle of Exmoor National Park. Dunkery Beacon is the highest point. You can walk up there from here if you want a proper hike. The coast at Porlock or Minehead is about a 20-minute drive. Minehead has a beach and the West Somerset Railway. Dunster, with its castle, is about 15 minutes away.

The local pub and a shop are about a mile up the road in Wheddon Cross. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Minehead or Dulverton. Dulverton's about 20 minutes and has nice tea shops.

If you need things for a baby or toddler, we can sort that. No pets, I'm afraid. The bedding and towels are included.
