Royal Oak Farm is in Winsford, on Exmoor. It sleeps nine. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms. You can bring a dog or two.
The place is old. Parts of it date back to the 1300s. It's thatched. The stairs are steep, because it's old. The garden is big and fully enclosed.
There's a pub literally next door. The village shop is a minute's walk away. It's handy.
You're in the middle of Exmoor National Park. You can walk straight out from the door onto the moor. Good walk to the top of Dunkery Beacon, which is the highest point. Tarr Steps, the ancient clapper bridge, is a short drive.
Dulverton is about six miles off. Has more shops, a few places to eat. Wimbleball Lake is nearby if you fancy sailing or a walk around the water.
Other places within half an hour: Dunster with its castle and medieval village, the steam railway at Minehead, and the coastal villages like Porlock Weir. Lynton and Lynmouth are a bit further, maybe 40 minutes.
For beaches, you've got Dunster Beach and Blue Anchor Bay on the coast.
It's got what you'd expect: wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking and a BBQ.
