This is Primrose Cottage. It's one of several cottages on a farm at Triscombe, just outside Wheddon Cross. It's on Exmoor. The setting is peaceful, down a long farm track in a wooded valley.
It sleeps two people. One bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. It's a ground-floor cottage. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
Being on a farm means you share some facilities. There's an indoor heated swimming pool on site that all guests can use. There's also a games room. The water comes from the farm's own spring.
Outside, there's space to sit and a stream runs through the hillside garden. You get badgers, deer, and buzzards around. The view looks across the valley towards Dunkery Beacon.
For basics, the nearest shop, pub, garage, and a restaurant are about a mile away in Wheddon Cross.
You're right in the Exmoor National Park. Good walking from the door. The coast at Porlock or Minehead is about a 20-minute drive. Minehead has a beach and the West Somerset Railway. Dunster, with its castle, is also close.
The cottage has a TV, wifi, a washing machine, and parking. Bedding is included. There's no mention of accepting pets.
