Bracken Cottage is on Triscombe Farm, up near Wheddon Cross on Exmoor. It's a ground floor cottage that sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating.
The cottage is part of a group of farm buildings that have been converted. You get your own patio and garden space. The main thing here is the setting. It's very quiet, right in a valley. You'll see red deer and buzzards often. The water in the tap is from the farm's own spring, which tastes good.
On site, there's an indoor heated swimming pool you can use, and space to store bikes. There's parking right outside.
Inside, it's got a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding is included. The bed is en-suite. Because it's ground floor and all on one level, the access is fairly straightforward.
The farm is about a mile from a shop and a pub. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Minehead, which is about ten miles away. That's also where you'll find the beach and the West Somerset Railway. Dunster, with its castle and village, is very close to Minehead.
You're right in the Exmoor National Park. For walking, you can head straight out from the door up onto the moors. Dunkery Beacon is the highest point and the view is huge. The coast at Porlock is about a twenty minute drive. It's dramatic, with big cliffs.
