Coachmans Cottage is on Triscombe Farm, up a long drive here in Wheddon Cross. It's part of a group of cottages, but it's a standalone one, not attached. You get your own bit of garden.
It’s for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It feels spacious for a cottage.
The farm has an indoor heated swimming pool you can use, which is good if the weather turns. There's a games room too, and some outdoor space to sit. Water comes from the farm’s own spring.
Being on Exmoor, you see a lot of wildlife. Red deer, buzzards, that sort of thing. The view from the farm looks across the valley towards Dunkery Beacon.
There's a shop and a pub about a mile away. Minehead is about ten miles for a proper beach and the West Somerset Railway. Dunster, with its castle, is a short drive and is very pretty. Exmoor National Park has all the information for walks and things to see.
Inside, it's got a woodburning stove, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding is included. No pets, sorry.
