Little Folly is in Winsford, right in the middle of Exmoor. It's a two-bedroom cottage. It was done up a couple of years ago so it's fresh. Sleeps four.
The main room downstairs is all open-plan. It’s got a big bay window looking out the garden and up to the hills. There's a decent kitchen area in there. The stairs inside are a bit unusual, there are four steps up from the living area to the landing where the bathroom and one bedroom are. Something to be aware of.
There are two bedrooms. One double downstairs, and a super-king upstairs that can be made into two singles if needed. One bathroom, with a bath and a shower over it.
The garden is yours, with a patio and a barbecue. It's very quiet and the views are just fields and hills. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger.
Winsford village is about a mile down the hill. There's a pub there. Dulverton is ten minutes by car for a supermarket and shops.
You're right on the edge of the moor for walking straight from the door. The coast at Minehead or Dunster is about a half hour drive. The West Somerset Railway is good for a trip.
Because it's so dark here, it's great for stargazing. We've got some binoculars you can use. If you want blankets and hot drinks for sitting outside at night, just ask and we can sort that.
You can bring up to two dogs. Everything like bedding, towels, and wifi is included.
For planning walks or days out, the Exmoor National Park site is useful. The National Trust has a lot of places nearby too, like Dunster Castle.
