Garden Cottage

This is Garden Cottage. It's at Triscombe Farm, just outside Wheddon Cross on Exmoor. It's part of a group of cottages converted from old farm buildings. You're down a long driveway, in a valley. It's quiet and green.

The cottage is one of the 'upside down' ones. You sleep downstairs and the living area is upstairs. That means the main bedroom windows look out at the garden and fields, which is nice. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating.

The farm has a shared indoor heated swimming pool you can book slots for. There's also a games room. You can help yourself to spring water from the farm's own supply. For the garden, there's a patio area with a BBQ.

Inside, it's got what you need: WiFi, a dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. There's parking right by the cottage.

Being on Exmoor, you'll see wildlife. Red deer, buzzards, that sort of thing. The local pub and a shop are about a mile away in Wheddon Cross.

For getting out, you're right in it. Dunkery Beacon is a good walk with big views. The coast at Porlock or Minehead is about a 20-30 minute drive. Minehead has the beach and the West Somerset Railway. Dunster is a pretty village with a castle. For a proper day out, Knightshayes Court is about 45 minutes away.
