Karslake House is in Winsford, which is a small village right in the middle of Exmoor. It's a terraced cottage, and our house is next door. We're there if you need anything.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and four bathrooms, which is unusual. Every bedroom has its own shower or en-suite. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
Inside, there's a living room with a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen is a good size and has what you'll need. Outside, there's a patio area that's been landscaped. It's enclosed, so it's private.
The village has a shop and a thatched pub that does food. Both are about a hundred yards away, so you can walk. The pub is just past the ford.
You're in the Exmoor National Park here. The walking is right from the door. You might see deer or the Exmoor ponies. Places like Withypool and Tarr Steps are a short drive away. Dulverton is the nearest proper town for more shops and places to eat.
If you head towards the coast, Dunster has its castle and a high street. Minehead is bigger, with a beach and the West Somerset Railway. Porlock, Lynmouth and Lynton are all within about half an hour's drive.
For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair. Sorry, no pets.
