Harewood Barn is a converted barn in Somerset, near Wimbleball Lake. It's detached and on its own bit of land.
It sleeps six, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well finished. The layout is a bit unusual. It's open plan downstairs. Upstairs, there are two separate staircases leading off the living room, one to a bedroom on one side and two bedrooms on the other. It means two of the bedrooms aren't connected by a landing.
There's a patio area with a BBQ, and an enclosed garden. Down a separate exterior staircase there's a cellar with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There's also a heated outhouse by the front door, which is good for drying wet gear or storing bikes.
The main view is over the lake. It's very quiet.
You can bring two dogs.
Wimbleball Lake is basically on the doorstep. You can walk to the activity centre. They do kayak hire and sailing, or you can launch your own boat. There's lots of walking and cycling around the lake itself.
Dulverton is about six miles away. That's got proper shops, a couple of restaurants and tea rooms. The village of Dunster and its castle is about a 20 minute drive. Minehead and the West Somerset Railway are about 30 minutes. The coast at Blue Anchor or Dunster Beach is also within half an hour.
For facilities, it's got the standard things: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. There's on-site parking. It's listed as having a wheelchair accessible entrance.
