The Coach House
The Coach House is in Upton, up on the Brendon Hills. It’s part of the old estate here and you can see the original features. We're on a farm, about 60 acres, and the house sits in its own four acre bit of that. It’s very quiet.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main thing is it’s clean and it works. We don't charge extra for dogs, and you can bring up to four. The stairs are a normal flight, not too steep.
You're right on the edge of Exmoor here. For walking, Haddon Hill is just up the road. Wimbleball Lake is about ten minutes away by car. You can sail or fish there. The coast at Watchet or Blue Anchor is about fifteen minutes in the other direction. Kilve has a fossil beach.
The village of Dulverton is a ten minute drive. They’ve got shops and places to eat. Dunster, with its castle, is about twenty minutes. The nearest pub is in the village, three miles away.
Inside, it’s open plan downstairs with a woodburner. There’s a TV, WiFi, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right outside. We’ve got a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them. There's a BBQ and bike storage too.
