Ash Lodge is in Sticklepath on the edge of Exmoor. It's a detached wooden lodge. You get all the space to yourselves.
Sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both have ensuite bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything's on one level, no stairs. Good for anyone who finds steps difficult.
There's a large decked balcony off the main rooms. It faces south so you get the sun. The view is through pine trees over fields.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is fenced. There's also a ground floor wet room with grab rails.
We have an outdoor electric vehicle charging point. It's a standard 3-pin socket, so it's a slower overnight charge. There's a fixed fee for using it. You need to ask in advance.
The nearest pub and restaurant is about a mile away. A shop is five miles, so you'll want to bring your basics. There's a working farm nearby.
For walks, you're right on the edge of Exmoor National Park. Dunkery Beacon is the highest point. You can drive to Porlock Weir or Minehead for the coast. The South West Coast Path runs along there.
Inside, it's open plan. Underfloor heating, dishwasher, washing machine, Smart TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
