The Old Mill
The Old Mill is in Shillingford, on the edge of Exmoor. It's part of our house, but it's completely separate. You get your own front door.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. The garden you see is ours, but you're welcome to use it. We're often around if you need anything, but we'll leave you to it.
The kitchen and living area is all one room. It's got everything you need. There's a TV, wifi, and parking right outside.
We keep chickens, so if they're laying, we'll leave you some eggs. And help yourself to any fruit from the garden that's in season.
The village with a shop and a couple of pubs is about a mile and a half away. They're decent. For a bigger shop, Tiverton is about 20 minutes by car.
You're right on the edge of Exmoor here. You can walk straight out from the cottage onto the paths. Wimbleball Lake is ten minutes away for walking, fishing, or sailing. Dunster with its castle is about a 25 minute drive. The coast at Minehead is about half an hour.
We've got space to put up a horse if you're bringing one, but you'd need to ask us about that first.
