The Old Mill
The Old Mill is in Shillingford, just outside Bampton. It's a wing of our house, so we're next door. You get your own front door and it's all private.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. Nothing too fancy. The stairs are a bit steep, like a lot of old places round here.
You're welcome to use our garden. There's a patio out the back with a table and a BBQ. The view looks over the fields towards the river. If you're bringing horses, we've got livery here too, just ask.
We're a rural spot, about a mile and a third from the village. There's a shop and a couple of pubs there. They're decent.
For things to do, you're right on the edge of Exmoor. You can be in Exmoor National Park in about ten minutes by car. Wimbleball Lake is close, maybe four miles. They do fishing and sailing and that. Dunster's a nice day out with the castle. Tiverton and Exeter are easy to get to if you need a bigger town.
What's here: WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. We sometimes have spare eggs or fruit from the garden, help yourself if there's any out.
