Beer Farm
This is Beer Farm. It's a barn near Waterrow, in the countryside just outside Exmoor National Park. You drive down a long, private track to get here. It's on 15 acres, so it's quiet. The barn is detached, so it's just you.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well kitted out and comfortable. The main thing is it has an indoor heated swimming pool. There's also a games room with a table tennis table.
The stairs are the original barn stairs. They're quite steep and a bit uneven. Just so you know.
You've got the garden to yourself. There's a patio with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. There's plenty of parking. We take up to three dogs. All bedding and towels are included.
For facilities, it's got pretty much everything: wifi, a TV, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a wood burner.
The closest shop and a good pub are about two miles away in Wiveliscombe. You can walk from the door onto the footpaths.
If you want to go further, you're right on the edge of Exmoor. Dunster, with its castle, is about a 20-minute drive. Minehead and the coast are about half an hour. Taunton is about 25 minutes for bigger shops.
