Werescote View White Ball

Werescote View is in White Ball, right on the Somerset and Devon border. It's a ground floor apartment that's part of our house, but you have your own entrance and it's very separate. You get a private garden area, plus you're welcome to wander our 22 acres of grounds. The view from the front over Whiteball Hill is the main thing, really. It's good.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which makes it easier. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.

The local pub is about a five minute walk. They do food. The nearest shop is a couple of miles down the road in Wellington. Taunton is about ten miles for a bigger supermarket.

You're on the edge of Exmoor here. You can walk straight from the property onto the hills. Exmoor National Park is right there. For a day at the coast, Minehead and North Devon's sandy beaches are about half an hour's drive. Tiverton's nice for a wander, it's got a castle and a market. Exeter is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes, but it's a proper city day out if you want one.

In terms of what's here: you've got the garden, parking, wifi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot and highchair in if you need them. There's bike storage. Sorry, no pets.

If you're interested in the railway history, the famous Whiteball Tunnel is just down the hill. Brunel built it. That's about it.
