Sparrows Nest
Sparrows Nest is a cottage attached to our house. You have your own separate entrance, but we share the garden. We're here if you need anything, but we'll leave you alone.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. The main thing is the view from the front. You look out over fields towards the Wellington Monument. It's very quiet.
The kitchen has what you need. There's a woodburner for cooler evenings. WiFi works fine. Towels and bedding are included. You can park right outside.
We've got chickens in the garden. They're fenced off, but you'll see them about. You're welcome to sit out in the garden. There's a patio area and a BBQ.
One dog is welcome. We ask that you keep it downstairs and don't leave it alone in the cottage.
The local pub is about a mile away in Wrangway. It serves food. The nearest shop is two miles away in Bradford-on-Tone.
You're right on the edge of the Blackdown Hills for walking. Exmoor is about a 40 minute drive. The Somerset coast, like Minehead, is under an hour. Devon's north coast, around Tiverton and Bideford, is also within an hour.
Taunton is about 15 minutes by car if you need a bigger town or the train station. The M5 is easy to get to from here.
