Nirvana

Nirvana is our place on the farm in Stoodleigh. It's for two people. It's a single-storey lodge, all one open-plan room with a kitchen area, a bed, and a shower room.

The lodge sits on the side of a valley. You look out over the fields. There's a herd of red deer down there, you'll see them grazing. You can hear the stags in autumn.

You get the whole site to yourselves. There's a big barbecue hut with seating, and an outdoor wood-fired hot tub. The hot tub uses water from our spring. We fill it for you before you arrive.

We leave a welcome pack with a few bits from the farm and nearby, like eggs and sausages. The drinking water is from the spring too.

You're welcome to walk around the farm, it's about 100 acres. We've got horses. You'll probably meet our dog, Belle, and the cat, Kitty. There's space for a couple of friends to camp or bring a campervan if you want, but the lodge itself is just for two.

Tiverton is about a fifteen minute drive for shops. Exmoor is half an hour north. The coast at Exmouth or around the Exe Estuary is maybe forty minutes.

For places to visit, Exmoor National Park has good information. National Trust Devon covers a lot of the big houses and coastline nearby.
