Nirvana
Nirvana is on our family farm in Stoodleigh in mid Devon. It's a small cottage that's just for two people, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and kept to a high standard.
The view is the main thing. It looks out over a valley where we have a herd of red deer. You'll see them grazing most days. You might hear the stags in the autumn.
The cottage is yours, and so is the whole site for your stay. There's a big barbecue hut with seating and a wood-fired hot tub outside. The hot tub water comes from our own spring, like all the water here.
We leave a welcome pack for guests. It has things we produce here, like bacon and sausages, as well as a few other bits.
You're welcome to walk around the farm, it's about 100 acres. There are fields, animals, and the deer valley. If you have friends who want to join but stay separately, there's space for a campervan or a tent on the site.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a TV, WiFi, and all the bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. Parking is right there.
For things to do, Tiverton is about a twenty minute drive. Exmoor National Park is to the north and Dartmoor National Park is to the south, both are within half an hour. The coast at Exmouth is about forty minutes. Useful links for planning: Exmoor National Park and Dartmoor National Park.
