Stag Cove

This is Stag Cottage. It's in Cove, near Tiverton. It's a barn conversion, part of a small group on a farm. It's peaceful, just fields and trees around.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and two bathrooms. One bedroom and a shower room are downstairs, the other bedroom with its en-suite is upstairs. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished. Everything's new and works properly. It's also wheelchair accessible at the entrance and on the ground floor, but check with us about specific needs.

The living area is open plan with the kitchen. Patio doors go out to your own private patio. Upstairs, on the landing, there's a little reading nook with a sofa. It's a nice spot.

You have your own patio with a barbecue and table. The lawn is shared with the cottage next door, Pheasant. It looks out over a nature pond and some woods. You can bring one dog. They usually like the walks from the door.

It's a working farm, so you'll see sheep and maybe the farmer going about. The farm track leads straight onto footpaths. The River Exe is close by for fishing.

Tiverton is about four miles away for shops and supermarkets. Knightshayes Court, a National Trust house, is very close. It's good for a walk in the gardens. National Trust Knightshayes.

Exmoor is about a 30 minute drive north. Dulverton is the main town there. The coast at places like Minehead is about an hour. Exeter and Taunton are both roughly 35 minutes by car if you need a bigger city.

For facilities: it has WiFi, a smart TV, a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. Underfloor heating downstairs keeps it warm.
