Barn Court Cottage
Barn Court Cottage is in Lurley. It's a hamlet, just a few houses really, north of Tiverton. The cottage is detached. You're down a country lane. The view from the kitchen window is fields and trees.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one double and one with twin beds. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
The garden is enclosed. It's a good spot to sit out if the weather's nice. Inside, there's a wood burner effect fire, a TV, and WiFi. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog.
There's a public bridleway right past the property, so you can start a walk from the door. The River Exe is close by for fishing. Tiverton is about four miles away for shops and supermarkets. The Tiverton Museum is there if that's your sort of thing.
For a day out, Knightshayes Court is nearby. The grounds are worth seeing. Exmoor is about a 20 minute drive. You can find walking routes and information on the Exmoor National Park website. The north Devon coast, like Woolacombe, is roughly an hour away. Exeter and Taunton are about 35 minutes by car.
There's parking for one car on the gravel drive.
