Cowslip Cottage

Cowslip Cottage is in Withleigh. It's an old place, detached, from about 1850. It sits on its own, so it's quiet. You look out over fields where there are farm animals. It's a working farm, so you'll hear and see them.

It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star. The stairs are a bit steep, it's that sort of cottage. The kitchen, dining and living area is all one room upstairs. That's so you get the view while you're sitting inside. Downstairs is just the bedrooms and bathroom.

You get the garden to yourselves. It's enclosed and there's a barbecue. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside.

For facilities, it's got a woodburning stove, WiFi, a TV, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. All the utilities are covered.

There's a public footpath right by the cottage that goes to Buzzard Woodland, which is National Trust land. It's a nice short walk. Tiverton town is about five minutes away by car for shops.

You're in the middle of Devon here, so you can get to either coast. The north coast, for surfing beaches, is about 50 minutes. The south coast is about an hour. For a day out, Exmoor National Park is close. So are places like The Grand Western Canal for a walk, RHS Rosemoor gardens, and Knightshayes house.
