Cowslip Cottage is in Withleigh, near Tiverton. It's a detached place from around 1850. The main living area is upstairs. They did that so you get the view from the big windows overlooking the fields. You'll see sheep and maybe a horse in the next field.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not huge. You get the whole garden to yourselves, it's enclosed. There's parking right there.
The stairs are a typical cottage staircase. They're fine, but they wind around a bit. We've put a stairgate at the top.
Inside, it's open plan upstairs. Kitchen, dining table, seating area all in one room with the wood burner. It's warm. There's a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. All bedding and towels are included.
You can bring one dog. The garden is secure. There's a highchair and a cot if you need them.
You can walk to Buzzards Woodland from the cottage. It's a National Trust bit of woods. Good for a short stroll. National Trust Buzzard Woodland.
Tiverton is about five minutes in the car for shops and supermarkets. The Grand Western Canal there is nice for a flat walk.
For a day out, Exmoor is maybe half an hour's drive. Exmoor National Park. Knightshayes is a National Trust house and gardens, about twenty minutes away. Both coasts are about an hour, depending on traffic.
