The Otters

The Otters is a group of barns we converted on our deer farm near Cadeleigh. They're detached from each other, about a hundred yards apart, on the same bit of land. You get the views over the ponds and the fields. It's very quiet.

It sleeps sixteen across eight bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which with a group that size is the main thing. It's got a five star rating, which means it's well-finished and has things like underfloor heating. Most of the properties have a private hot tub.

The barns are accessed by an unmade farm track, so it's a bit bumpy. The gardens are fenced, but the ponds on the property are not. You'll see the deer around, and sometimes there are otters in the ponds.

There's a pub and restaurant about half a mile away in the village. The nearest shop is in Tiverton, about six miles. Exeter is nine miles if you need more.

For a day out, you're right between Dartmoor and Exmoor. The Exmoor National Park coastline is about forty minutes north. The Tiverton Canal is close by for a gentle walk or a boat trip. Bickleigh Mill is nearby for a café and a small railway.

Facilities wise: it's all on one level with wheelchair access, there's parking at each barn, washing machines, and WiFi. We include bedding and towels. You can bring up to two dogs.
