East Dunster Deer Farm - Deer Park
Deer Park is one of the barn conversions here on the deer farm in Cadeleigh. It's detached, so you're on your own. You get a private garden looking over the valley. There are two other cottages on the farm, but they're a decent distance away, about a hundred yards.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well finished, things like underfloor heating and good showers. The main living area is open plan, with big doors that open right out.
The farm is 40 acres. You'll see the red deer from the windows, sometimes right up close. There are a couple of ponds on the land too. The gardens are fenced, but the ponds aren't, just so you know if you've got little kids or dogs.
There's a local pub about half a mile away, it does food. The proper shop is in Tiverton, which is about six miles. Tiverton has supermarkets and what you need.
If you want to go out, Bickleigh Mill is close by. It's got river walks and a little railway. Exmoor National Park is about a 30 minute drive for good walks. The north Devon coast, for beaches like Woolacombe, is a bit further, maybe 45 minutes. Exeter is about 20-25 minutes away if you want a city day, cathedral, shops, that sort of thing.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair here if you need them. The property is wheelchair accessible.
