Little Millhayes
Little Millhayes is in Up Exe, which is a quiet hamlet north of Exeter. It's a detached cottage. The garden is fully enclosed by a six foot wall, which is good if you have dogs or kids.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The main thing to know is the stairs: they're a metal spiral staircase to get to the first floor bedroom. They're fine, but they are spiral stairs. Also, the ceiling under the beams in the dining area is low, under six foot, and there's a step down into the kitchen.
The living room has patio doors out to the garden. There's a lockable barn in the garden with a tumble dryer and space for bikes.
For shops and food, the nearest is about a mile and a quarter away. A pub is about a mile and three quarters.
Exeter is about eight miles south. Dartmoor and Exmoor are both within easy reach for a day out. The coast, either north or south Devon, is about an hour's drive. The National Trust Devon page is useful for planning.
Facilities: It has parking, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, a cot and highchair. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three dogs.
