Kingfisher Lodge is on the edge of the Blackdown Hills. It's one of a few lodges by some fishing lakes at Ponsford Ponds. It's detached. You get your own decking area that looks straight out over the water.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own shower room. The beds are big zip-and-link ones, so you can have them as twins or a super king. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. There's a hot tub on the deck.
The living space is all open-plan. There's a woodburner for cooler nights. Big doors open onto the deck. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine.
If you fish, the use of the main lake is included. There are carp and other fish in there. There's a bigger specimen pond a short walk away.
You're about five minutes from Cullompton. It's a proper market town with shops and pubs. Exeter is twenty minutes down the M5, which is about ten minutes from here.
The coast is within an hour, either north or south. Exmoor and Dartmoor are about fifty minutes away in different directions. Closer by, the Grand Western Canal is three miles away for a gentle walk or a boat trip.
