Lanes Cottage is in Kentisbeare. It's in a quiet lane, like it says on the tin. It's a 17th century place, so it's old. The walls aren't dead straight and the beams are low in the doorways. You need to mind your head.
It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The main thing inside is the big inglenook fireplace. It's got a wood burner in it. It's a proper fireplace. The stairs are steep. They're old cottage stairs.
Outside, there's a patio garden with a table. There's parking right outside the house.
The village has a shop and a pub. Both are about a quarter of a mile walk. The pub does food. The Blackdown Hills are all around you here, so if you like walking, you can just step out the door. There's a Blackdown Hills website with maps and routes.
You're about four miles from Cullompton and the M5 junction. That makes it easy to get to other places. Exeter is about half an hour's drive. The coast at places like Sidmouth or Exmouth is also about thirty minutes away. For a bigger day out, Exmoor and Dartmoor are both within an hour's drive.
In the cottage you've got a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and bedding is included. There's a cot if you need it. Pets aren't allowed.
