The Barn is in Kentisbeare. It's just outside the village on the site of the old Golden Lion pub. It's a detached stone barn conversion.
It sleeps seven people. There are three bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, but it's still a barn. The ground floor bedroom is off the kitchen, and the other two are upstairs.
The kitchen is on the small side. It's fine for cooking a meal, but it's not a big family kitchen. The main living area is a good size, with a wood burner. There's a TV with Freeview.
The garden is fully enclosed. It's got a big lawn, a patio, a barbecue, and a fire pit. There's a bit of play equipment for kids. You can park on site.
The village has a shop and a pub, both a short walk away. The pub does food.
You're about half an hour's drive from the coast either way. Exmouth and Sidmouth are to the south. For North Devon, Tiverton is your main route out. Dartmoor National Park is about 25 minutes to the south west. Exmoor is a bit further, maybe 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic.
We include bedding and towels. There's a washing machine. You can bring up to three dogs. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
