Ponsford Ponds Jacks Shepherd Hut
Ponsford Ponds Jacks is a shepherd's hut on our land in Devon. It's detached, so it's just you on your own bit of decking. You look out over a field and one of the ponds.
It sleeps two, one bedroom with the bathroom right off it. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything's new and works as it should. It's small, obviously, but it's laid out well. There's a sofa, a TV, and an electric stove that looks like a wood burner. It gets very warm.
Outside, there's a deck with a table and chairs and your own hot tub. You have the fishing rights for the ponds here. They're about a three-minute walk away. They're stocked with carp.
You're in the country but it's not remote. Cullompton town is five minutes in the car for shops and a few pubs. The M5 is ten minutes away if you're coming off a long drive or heading out for the day.
Exeter is about twenty minutes. The coast at Exmouth or Sidmouth is half an hour. Dartmoor is under an hour. The Blackdown Hills are right here for walking. If you want ideas, the Blackdown Hills website has maps. For big days out, Killerton and Knightshayes are both National Trust properties nearby.
Facilities: there's a kitchen with a small dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
