East Dunster Deer Farm-The Linhay
It's at East Dunster Deer Farm. The place is a barn, called The Linhay. It's on our deer farm in Cadeleigh. The barn is one of four here, all a good distance apart so you've got your own space. It's up a farm track, about 100 yards from the house.
It sleeps twelve. Six bedrooms, five bathrooms. Most rooms have their own shower room, which helps with a big group. It's a 5 Star place, so it's done up well. There's underfloor heating downstairs.
The kitchen has a big table and picture windows looking down the valley. The living room has a wood burner. There's a private, enclosed garden with a patio. It has its own hot tub.
You're on a 40-acre working farm. We have red deer. You'll see them, and sometimes the stags, from the windows. There are ponds on the farm, sometimes you might see an otter. The gardens are fenced, but the ponds aren't, so just be aware if you have small children.
There's a pub about half a mile away in the village that does food. The proper shops are in Tiverton, about six miles. Exeter is about nine miles if you need the city or the train station.
For a day out, Bickleigh Mill is close. They've got a cafe and a little railway. The Exmoor National Park is within half an hour for walking. The north Devon coast, for beaches, is about an hour's drive.
What's here: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. We can put out a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
