Challette At Timbertops
Challette At Timbertops is in Washfield, just outside Tiverton. It’s one of those places that’s not on the main road, down a track near the railway. The views from the garden are across fields.
It's a detached chalet. Two bedrooms, sleeps four, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main thing is it's all on the ground floor. There aren't any steps to get in. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with a seat. It's not big but it works well if you’ve got mobility needs, so we get a few guests who really appreciate that.
You can bring one dog. There's an enclosed garden. It’s not huge but it’s fenced, which is handy. The parking's right outside and there's an electric vehicle charger.
It’s in the Exe Valley, so it’s quiet, but good for walks straight from the door. We’re on the edge of Exmoor and it’s about a forty-minute drive to some nice beaches like Woolacombe or Exmouth. The National Trust's Knightshayes Court is nearby for a day out.
The nearest shop and pub are a few miles away in Bampton or Tiverton. Tiverton's got the basics, Exeter's about half an hour’s drive if you want more.
Inside, you’ve got TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and all the bedding and towels are provided. It’s clean, warm, and it does the job.
