Talltrees

Talltrees is a modern, detached lodge near East Mere. It's on part of our land, so it's private and quiet. The views are across fields.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, so no queues. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well-finished and has everything. One king room and a bunk room are downstairs. Upstairs is a gallery bedroom with its own shower room, looking over the living area.

The main room is open plan. There are big patio doors out to the deck. The kitchen's got a washing machine, dishwasher, and a big fridge freezer. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. Outside, there's a deck with a hot tub and a table and chairs. The driveway is tree-lined and you park right by the lodge.

You can bring two dogs. There's plenty of grass for them. We include bedding and towels. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.

It's a quiet spot. Good for starry nights. The National Trust's Knightshayes is about three miles away. The Grand Western Canal is close for walking or cycling. You can get boat trips from there.

Exeter is about half an hour's drive for the cathedral and shopping. Both Exmoor and Dartmoor are within an hour. The North Devon coast, for surfing, is also about an hour up the A361.
