Talltrees
Talltrees is our lodge out at East Mere in Devon. It's a detached modern lodge, built for holidays. It sits in a private corner of our land. The views from the deck are over our meadows. It's very quiet here at night. You can see a lot of stars.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms. Two are on the ground floor: one with a kingsize bed and one with bunk beds. Upstairs is a gallery bedroom with another kingsize and its own shower room. There's a second bathroom downstairs too.
The main room is open plan. The bi-fold doors open onto the deck. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen has what you'll need: dishwasher, washing machine, a decent fridge-freezer. The deck has a hot tub, which is private to the lodge.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's plenty of grass for them to run on. There's a pond nearby, so if you've got small children or dogs that like water, you'll want to know that.
For days out, the Grand Western Canal and Country Park is close by for walks or bike rides. Knightshayes is about three miles away.
You're well placed for driving. Exeter is about half an hour. The coast, either south towards the South Devon Path or north to Exmoor and the surfing beaches, is within an hour's drive. Dartmoor is about the same.
What's included: bedding and towels, cot and highchair if needed, parking right by the lodge. Everything's on one level except for the stairs up to the gallery bedroom.
