Duvale Priory
Duvale Priory is in Cove, near Tiverton. It's a collection of three cottages that can be rented together, sleeping 26 people in total. They're separate buildings so you can also rent just one if you need to.
There are eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms spread between them. The rating is 4 Star. It's a historic place, Grade II listed, parts of it date back a long way. You can book catering direct from the owner if you want, which is useful for a big group.
The layout makes it suitable for large gatherings, even weddings. They can accommodate up to 100 guests by arrangement. One of the cottages has its own private hot tub.
Facilities across the properties include wood burners in most, parking on site, a washing machine, dishwasher, and wifi. Bedding is included and you can have cots and highchairs. The garden is yours to use and there's a BBQ. You can bring up to three pets.
The location is quiet, in the Exe Valley. There's a pub two miles away and a shop about one and a half miles. You can walk by the river in the fields next to the property.
Tiverton is about seven miles away for shops and supermarkets. Bickleigh, about eight miles, has good pubs by the river. For the coast, Minehead is the nearest with sandy beaches and the West Somerset Railway. It’s about a 30 minute drive.
Exmoor National Park is within easy reach for walking. Wimbleball Lake is nearby for sailing. Exeter is roughly 20 miles if you need a city, or Dunster with its castle is about the same distance.
