Rackenford

This is Rackenford. It's a glamping pod on our land near Roachill in Devon. It's for two people.

You get your own pod and a fully enclosed garden with a hot tub. The garden's a sun trap. Inside, it's one open space. There's a kingsize bed in the middle so you can look out at the view, a small kitchen area with a two-ring hob and a microwave oven, and a shower room. It's all on one level.

It's on a working smallholding. There are sheep and ponies in the fields around you. The view is over the countryside towards Exmoor. You can walk straight onto the moors from here. It's very quiet.

The village of Rackenford is about three miles away. It has a shop. South Molton and Tiverton are both about a twenty minute drive for bigger supermarkets.

You're well placed for getting around. The North Devon link road is close. Exmoor National Park is right there. You can drive to the north coast, to places like Woolacombe or Croyde, in about forty minutes. To the south, places like Sidmouth are a similar distance.

Things you should know: it's a pod, so the space is compact. The bed is right there in the main room. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right by the pod.
