Knowstone
Knowstone is a glamping pod at Roachill. It's on our smallholding, near Rackenford. There are two pods, yours and Rackenford, but they're spaced well apart so you've got your own bit.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, really, though it's all one open space. The bed's a kingsize in the middle of the room so you can see out. There's a proper shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good for this type of thing. It's clean and warm.
You've got a little kitchen with a two-ring hob and a microwave that also works as an oven. There's an under-counter fridge. Enough for making breakfast or a simple meal.
The best bit is outside. There's a fully enclosed garden just for your pod. It's got a fire pit and BBQ, some chairs, and a hot tub. It catches the sun most of the day. You look out over our fields towards Exmoor. We've got sheep and ponies grazing around.
It's very quiet here. The nearest village with a shop is Rackenford, about three miles away. South Molton is 11 miles if you need a bigger town.
For walks, you can actually walk onto the moorland from the property. Otherwise, Exmoor National Park is a short drive. The north coast, places like Woolacombe and Croyde, are about 40 minutes in the car. To the south, Sidmouth and the Jurassic Coast are a similar drive.
Included in the price: all your bedding and towels, electricity, WiFi, and parking right next to the pod. The hot tub is ready for you when you arrive. You can bring up to two dogs.
