This is North Huckham. It's my place out near Bridgetown, on the Somerset side of Exmoor.
It's a detached house, sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is downstairs. It's got a 3 Star rating, so again, it's clean and comfortable but don't expect anything showy.
You get there by a rough track. It's not a problem for a normal car, but you should know. The garden's quite big and there's a private pond.
Because it's on the edge of Exmoor, it's very dark at night. You can see a lot of stars if the sky's clear.
The nearest pub is about two miles away in Bridgetown. For a proper shop, you'll need to drive to Dulverton, which is about seven miles. Dulverton's good, has a few shops and some nice places for food.
If you want to go walking, you're right on Exmoor. The South West Coast Path is a short drive away too. For a day out, Lynmouth and Lynton are about a half hour drive. The Watersmeet gorge is there. Minehead's in the other direction, maybe 25 minutes, that's got the beach.
The West Somerset Railway is nearby if you like steam trains. Dunster Castle is worth visiting, maybe 30 minutes by car.
Inside, it's got a woodburning stove, WiFi, TV, dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. Parking for a couple of cars right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
