North Huckham is a detached house on the edge of Exmoor, near Exton. You get to it down a rough track, so take it slow.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not a showhome. The garden is big and there's a private pond.
It's very dark here at night because of the Exmoor Dark Sky status, so the stars are really clear if you get a good evening.
You can bring two dogs. There's parking on site, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a wood burner. Bedding and towels are in.
The local pub is about two miles away. For a proper shop, you'd need to drive to Dulverton, which is about seven miles. It's a handy little town with places to eat.
For days out, you're well placed for Exmoor. The coast isn't too far either. Lynmouth and Lynton are about a 30 minute drive. They've got the Cliff Railway and the National Trust's Watersmeet. Minehead has a beach and the West Somerset Railway. Dunster with its castle is also worth a trip.
