Rose Cottage is on our farm in North Beer, just outside Launceston. It's part of a working farm, so you'll see sheep and cows in the fields around you. You get your own garden with a table and a barbecue.
The cottage sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. They all have TVs. One bedroom is on the ground floor, which is next to the bathroom with a shower. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a super king bed and an en-suite with a bath and a shower. The other upstairs room has twin beds and its own bathroom with a bath too.
Inside, it's all open plan downstairs. There's a wood burner, which we supply some logs for. The floors are the original stone, so it can feel a bit cool underfoot. The stairs are the typical cottage kind, a bit steeper than modern ones.
You can bring up to two dogs. They need to be on a lead outside the garden gate because of the farm animals. We provide a stairgate, cot and highchair if you need them.
For getting out, Bodmin Moor is about a 20 minute drive east. Good for walking. The coast at Bude or Crackington Haven is roughly half an hour north. Tintagel and Port Isaac on the north coast are about 40 minutes. Padstow is a bit further, maybe 45 minutes.
