Meddat Farm Annex
This is Meddat Farm Annex. It's an annex to the main farmhouse here at Meddat Farm, near Kildary. You get your own front door. We live next door in the main house.
The track up to the farm is rough. It's fine for normal cars, you just have to take it slow. You can park right outside.
It sleeps three, maybe four if two are sharing a double bed. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow. Just so you know.
The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher. There's a washing machine too. The living room looks out over the fields. You've got your own bit of garden with a bench. It's a working farm, so you'll see sheep and cattle around.
There's a local pub in Kildary, about a mile down the road. The nearest proper towns are Tain, about six miles, and Invergordon, about seven. Both have shops and places to eat. The coast is a short drive away.
Inverness is about 40 minutes north if you need a city or the airport. It's a good base for seeing this bit of the Highlands. For planning days out, the National Trust for Scotland Highlands page has ideas, and Visit Highlands is useful.
WiFi is included. Bedding and towels are too. No pets, sorry.
