Taigh Fiodha is near Balintore. It's a log cabin, detached, built from Scandinavian pine. It's new, so everything's in good order. It looks west towards Ben Wyvis, and north to the Sutherland hills.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is open plan on the ground floor, and there's a level entrance, so it's accessible if you have mobility issues. The stairs inside are wooden and quite straight, but they're fine.
You can walk to the beach in about ten minutes. It's a sandy beach. Great for the dog. The whole Seaboard coast there, Shandwick and Hilton too, is all beach and walking. You're right on the coast.
Inverness is about forty minutes' drive if you need a city or the airport. From here, you're well placed for the whole north. Dornoch is close. Golspie and Brora are a short drive up the coast. The Falls of Shin are about half an hour inland if you want to see salmon leaping.
The cabin has a garden and a patio with a BBQ. Parking is right outside. It's got everything you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
