The Annex at Mains House is our place near North Tarrel. It's a converted steading by our house, so it's attached, but you have your own door and a private garden. The garden looks over the fields towards the Dornoch Firth.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs. One's a double in the mezzanine space, so it's open to the living area below. The other has a bed that can be a king or twins. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and clean inside.
You're right in the countryside here. It's quiet. You can walk down to the shore from the property. The beaches at Balintore and Portmahomack are about ten minutes away by car.
Tain is the nearest town, about five minutes drive. It has the shops. The Glenmorangie Distillery is there if you want a tour. Dornoch is maybe twenty minutes north. It's got a nice cathedral and a famous golf course, Royal Dornoch. The North Coast 500 route goes right past the door if you're doing that.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if needed. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's a shared games room in the main steading building with a pool table.
