Well Cottage
Well Cottage is in Portmahomack. It's a detached house, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall. It used to be the village bakery. There's an old well next to it, which is where the name comes from.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is on one level, so it's good if you don't want stairs. There's a step at the front door.
The living area is open plan. Kitchen, table, sitting area all in one room. It gets a lot of light. The garden has decking and you can see the sea between the other houses.
The beach, a shop, and the pub are all about a minute's walk away. The pub does food. The beach is sandy and good for a swim if you don't mind the North Sea.
Tain is about ten minutes by car. There's a supermarket there. The Glenmorangie distillery is nearby if that's your thing. For a bigger day out, the Dornoch Firth bridge is about half an hour's drive. That gets you towards Inverness.
The house has a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on the driveway. No pets, sorry.
