Well Cottage is in Portmahomack, on the Tarbat Peninsula. It's detached. It used to be the village bakery, and the well at the side is where they got their water. It's a four-star place.
There are two bedrooms, both with their own shower room. That's useful. It sleeps four. The main living space is open-plan, so it's one big room with the kitchen, table, and sitting area. It gets a lot of light. The stairs are a typical cottage staircase, so they're a bit narrow and steep.
You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed, which is good for that. There's decking with a view over the rooftops to the sea.
The village is quiet. The beach is a two-minute walk. There's a shop and a pub even closer than that. The pub does food. The village faces west, so the sunsets over the sea are very good.
For a bigger beach, you can drive to Dornoch or Golspie, that's about half an hour. Tain is fifteen minutes for more shops. If you want a proper day out, Inverness is just under an hour's drive. The area is good for walking and fishing. There's a golf course nearby.
It has the things you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Parking is right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but the bedroom and bathrooms are upstairs.
